Welcome to the second week of class!

Previous Assignments
Please make sure you have turned in the first two (2) assignments into Teams. The first assignment (1 Shirt Icebreaker) has already been graded and returned. It is not too late to get those turned in for credit.

This Week
This week we are starting to work in on our understanding of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. Specifically, we will be learning about our role as Journalists as yearbook editors and how Supreme Court cases have shaped the landscape for student journalism.

• Getting help. Please reference the "Help" tab above for how to get help for a class project. This will give you the best chance at quick help by not only your fellow students but Mr. Vinson as well.
• Keeping a journal of your progress. This time, it is a separate assignment called 3 First Amendment Doc. The doc is worth 6 points, and students cannot complete the final presentation until all 6 points are submitted. (They do not need to be graded to work on the final presentation).
• Please know there is an absolutely zero tolerance policy on all plagiarism. Plagiarism is when you take someone else's work and turn it in as your own. Just changing wording DOES NOT make the work your own. Turning in any work other than your own will result in a zero grade and disciplinary action.

Turning in This Week
Although no assignment is due this week, you should be adding your own work to your "3 First Amendment Doc" progress check document as you go along.
